Fascinating Tale Well-Told
You know an author has done a great job of world-building when you step into the second book in a series and feel right at home. That’s the way I felt when I dug into Lander’s Choice. C.S. Wachter has created an interesting world at the earth’s core where Stone Sovereigns reign supreme, but all is not well. It falls to Lander to fulfill his destiny and set right what has been set asunder by man’s interference. He faces hardship, loss, and trials by fire (literally) before he ultimately accepts and completes his mission. It’s hard not to root for him, and to hope there is another sequel describing what happens one year from now…
